Steel structure workshop is mainly composed of the following materials:

1. Main structure materials

Steel columns and steel beams

Generally, steel sections such as H-shaped steel and I-shaped steel are used. The cross-sectional shape of H-shaped steel makes it superior in performance when bearing vertical and horizontal loads, and is often used as the main load-bearing member of large steel structure workshops. Steel beams mainly bear the loads from roofs and cranes, while steel columns are the vertical supports of workshops, transferring the loads to the foundation.

Steel trusses

For large-span steel structure workshops, steel trusses are the key load-bearing structures. It is composed of multiple rods connected by nodes, which can effectively span a large space and evenly transfer the roof load to columns or other supporting structures.

2. Connection materials

Bolts

High-strength bolts are indispensable materials for steel structure connections. Friction-type high-strength bolts rely on friction to transmit shear force, and are widely used in beam-column connections and other parts of steel structure workshops to ensure the integrity and stability of the structure.

Welding materials

Including welding rods, welding wires, etc. Welding technology is frequently used in the manufacturing and installation of steel structure workshops. The various steel components are connected into a whole through welding. The appropriate welding material should be selected according to the material of the steel to ensure the quality of the weld.

3. Enclosure materials

Colored steel plate

Used for the wall and roof enclosure of steel structure workshops. It has good thermal insulation, heat insulation and waterproof performance, and has a variety of colors, which can be selected according to the requirements of architectural design. The outer layer of the color steel plate is a color-coated steel plate, and the inner layer can be a thermal insulation material such as polystyrene foam or rock wool.

Lighting board

Usually set on the roof to introduce natural light and reduce the need for indoor lighting during the day. Lighting boards are generally transparent or translucent plastic products with good light transmittance and weather resistance.
